Routes 1, 1a, 1b & 2


1 Complete Coastal Route
Feel free to start anywhere along the route, but for a clockwise route, start at Liberation Square and head west towards St Aubin, cycling along the path that runs adjacent to Victoria Avenue. Continue through St Brelade and drop down onto the coast at Corbière Lighthouse and then proceed north up the coast road. Cut inland at Les Mielles Golf Course and loop around the Nature Reserve, continuing to bear north. Upon reaching L’Etacq, take the lanes north-east towards Grève de Lecq Barracks and follow the northern coast road east from here. On this section of the route, you will pass Sorel, St John, Trinity and Rozel. Head west to Fliquet and St Catherine’s Breakwater before travelling south to Gorey. You will pass Grouville on your way back to the A4, which will take you back to St Helier.

1a Albert Pier to La Frégate Café via Les Jardins de la Mer
From New North Quay at the top of Albert Pier, join the A1 heading west and take the first left into the car park before turning right at the Jubilee Needle. Follow the path past the Waterfront Gardens, then turn right and head north from the Radisson Blu Hotel to La Fregate Café.

1b Jersey Zoo to St Martin
From Jersey Zoo take the main road east toward La Ville Bree before turning south and heading through the lanes of Rue du Huquet and Rue du Puchot. Bear south until you arrive in St Martin’s Village. Go past the parish church and turn right at The Royal pub into Rue de Payn. To extend your ride, follow the coastal route towards Gorey.

2 Waterworks Valley
From the Old Station Café on the south coast, head north and turn right at Morrisons Daily at Benest’s, before turning left into Le Chemin des Moulins, where you will follow the tree-lined route past the reservoir of Waterworks Valley. Take a left and continue travelling north along the lane. Finally, turn left and conclude the route along Les Charrieres Nicolle.
