Saddle up and enjoy
Steep climbs and exhilarating drops that work their way through wooded valleys open out to smooth strips of
cycle-friendly highways set against the breath-taking backdrop of our windswept coast. Whether you ride for pleasure, convenience or fitness, Jersey is a playground for riders of all levels.
Add to this our reduced speed limits and stunning scenery, and discover an Island that is made for two wheels. Saddle up and enjoy the ride.
Why cycle in Jersey?
We may be small but we pack many diverse, beautiful and challenging cycle routes in our nine miles by five. Warm up with gentle spins along sandy seascapes, or tackle a pulse-raising hill climb to Jersey’s north coast.
For experienced riders, Visit Jersey have created eight advanced cycle routes to get your blood pumping.
Whether you are cycling solo or with a team, each advanced route can be connected depending on how far you want to go.
The routes also include handy pit-stops and show the difficulty and gradient you will encounter along the way. Check out the routes by watching an aerial video on the Relive app.
Follow the signs
Our many cycle routes are clearly marked and take in miles of rich countryside, coastal tracks and ‘green lanes’.
Enjoy cycle routes that cross farm, field and coast, leading you to some of the best views in Jersey.
If you are new to cycling, and unsure whether to purchase your own bike, why not hire your pedals? Bikes can be hired from Big Maggy’s, Aaron’s Bike Hire, Jersey Bike Hire, Jersey Bus Tours and Zebra Car and Cycle Hire. You can also hire fold-up Brompton bikes from Liberation Station, which you can also take on the bus if you run out of steam during your ride.
